Our infrastructure development, the Grays Bay Road and Port, and our mineral properties, are within the Arctic Economic & Security Corridor extending from Alberta to the Arctic Ocean.

Projects

Since 2023, West Kitikmeot Resources Corp (WKR) has been the proponent and developer of the Grays Bay Road and Port (GBRP) Project, part of the Arctic Economic & Security Corridor extending from Alberta to the Arctic Ocean.

Grays Bay Road and Port is a multi-user, multi-purpose asset that will further assert Inuit and Canadian sovereignty over the Northwest Passage. It is a vital infrastructure corridor between southern Canada and the Kitikmeot. The project will be key to unlocking the critical minerals wealth of the Kitikmeot, and will be a driver of new opportunities for Kitikmeot Beneficiaries.

WKR holds mineral exploration rights along the Grays Bay road and port corridor, including the Arcadia Bay property adjacent to the proposed port.
