WKR COO Elliot Holland and NWT Deputy Premier Caroline Wawzonek participated in a panel moderated by Kiewit SVP Terry Burgis at The Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships's P3 2025 Conference.

The panelists discussed WKR and the Government of Northwest Territories work to advance the Arctic Economic and Security Corridor, a nation-building project to build an all-season road through the NWT to Arctic deepwater at the Port of Grays Bay.

Minister Wawzonek also spoke about the GNWT's integrated infrastructure plan to build the Taltson clean energy project and the Mackenzie Valley Highway.

Terry Burgis connected this generation of projects to Kiewit's past work on the Tłı̨chǫ All-Season Road and upcoming expansion at the Port Of Nome.

All the panelists agreed that Canada now needs the wealth of defense, sovereignty, geological and resources opportunities that exist across the North.
