Grays Bay Impact Statement passes NIRB conformity review

WKR is pleased to announce that the Nunavut Impact Review Board has issued a positive Conformity Determination for the Impact Statement of the Grays Bay Road and Port Project.


This decision confirms that the 8,000-page Impact Statement conforms to NIRB's Final Scope and Guidelines, issued in January.


All 12 volumes of the Impact Statement are available for download at westkit.ca/file-downloads and on NIRB's public registry.


The next step in the NIRB process is for parties (such as Indigenous and public governments, non-governmental organizations, and other stakeholders) to send WKR Information Requests. NIRB has set a deadline of June 5, 2026 for these requests.
