Marine Ecology program

WKR completed a marine ecology program at Grays Bay today, advancing our understanding of the ecosystem that we need to protect through the Port's development.

Thanks to team lead Conor McCracken from Nunami Stantec Limited, our Inuit advisors and wildlife monitors Jeffrey Niptanatiak, Luc-Paul Uvilluq, and Jimmy Evalik, and the whole team supporting them including Acasta HeliFlight Inc., Blue Star Gold Corp, and Akokli Construction.

During the program we had a visit from Fisheries and Oceans Canada / Pêches et Océans Canada as well as Kugluktuk Mayor Ryan Nivingalok.
